Megan Almon, a former University of Georgia Gymdog, was a part of the 2002 SEC Championship team. She worked as an award-winning journalist until 2008, when she decided to put her communication skills to use for the Kingdom. She joined Life Training Institute in 2009, and was awarded a Master of Arts degree in Christian apologetics from Biola University in 2011. In addition to working with LTI, Megan has experience working with youth organizations, campus outreach, and women’s groups. Megan and her husband, Tripp — Executive Pastor at Four Corners Church of Newnan, Ga., and a former gymnast himself — have been married since 2003 and have two children, Neely and Rogan. Megan enjoys spending time with her family at their log cabin in Newnan and is still known to practice handstands in her living room and occasionally coach the sport she still loves. She has spoken to high school-and-college assemblies and classrooms, youth organizations, women’s groups, and congregations across the nation on topics including:

  • The Case for Life — Communicating and defending the pro-life view persuasively and graciously
  • Christianity as a Worldview — Thinking about Christianity as a worldview and how that impacts the whole Christian
  • The Resurrection: A B.E.A.R. of an Argument — Sharing and defending the truth of the Resurrection of Christ win- somely and convincingly.

Don’t Miss Brett Kunkle – THIS SUNDAY at Cottonwood Creek

The assault on Christianity has never been more aggressive or more vicious than it is today.  Are you and your students prepared?

Brett Kunkle may be today’s most dynamic speaker, leader and trainer when it comes to preparing students to be ready to:

  • Confront the culture
  • Defend the faith
  • Deliver the gospel message.

He doesn’t just teach students.  He trains and equips them to meet with atheists and unbelievers in the “real world”, places like University of California, Berkeley, and Salt Lake City Utah.

It is our great privilege to have Brett at Cottonwood Creek Church THIS SUNDAY to lead FOUR different events:

  1. 8:00 AM – Apologetics Class for All Ages  (2nd floor)
  2. 9:30 AM – Middle School Ministry (Gym)
  3. 11:00 AM – High School Ministry  (Gym)
  4. Noon – Parent/Student Q & A Luncheon  (Gym)

Cottonwood is on the south side of 121, between Stacy and Watters/Lake Forest.

Think about your family and friends.  Between 75% and 90% of students raised “in church” walk away from their Christian faith when they go to college.

You do not have to attend Cottonwood to join us for these essential events this Sunday.

Invite everyone who cares about the way the world is attacking our kids.
