New Book Study at 11:00 AM Every Tuesday

New members are welcome to join this book study group as we begin our study of Mike Adam’s book:

Letters to a Young Progressive

We meet at Cottonwood Creek Church, in Room B116

Tuesday, September 29, 11:00 AM, we will discuss the preface and the first two letters (chapters).

Discussion Questions:  Go to the “Menu”, then the “Study Questions” tab (on this web site) for the discussion questions for the preface and for “Letter 1” and “Letter 2”.  Pages 3 and 4 of the study questions file contain the text of “Letter 1” for those who may not have the book yet.

It is NOT necessary to read the book or complete the study questions before attending our meetings.

IS MURDER WRONG? WHY???

Join us this Thursday evening as Steve Lee speaks on “The Argument from Morality”.

Is murder objectively wrong?   Is it wrong to torture children just for the fun of it?   Is rape evil?  Why shouldn’t I take your car if I like it better than mine?

The answers to these questions are both simple and oh so obvious — at least for 99% of us.  But this topic is vitally important to anyone who is earnestly seeking answers to the “big questions” of life?

Steve Lee has graciously agreed to bring his energetic style to a presentation of this topic for our local chapter of Reasonable Faith.
